It's pretty simple, do a sum of all personal and corp wallets. That doesn't give you any idea of assets, but that's not what I was asking. Of course that sum will only be acurate for the moment that it is queried, but that's close enough for me....

It fits the exact idea of insurance. You pay ISK to insure that you are compensated if your ship is blown in a time period. If your ship doesn't blow up you don't get that isk back. You pay money for term life insurance and you don't die in that...
